This series, which is at first glance 8 drawings on paper, hinges on 8 digital photographs the viewer can explore through QR codes. These 8 photographs are the archives of some objects initially supposed to be offered to members of the artist family. Unfortunately, due to the embargo inflicted to this territory,  these gifts never reached them. These objects, of which only archives now remain, thus there are shown as “virtual” images. The QR code technology enables the diversion of its direct accessibility.

The QR codes itself, usually generated instantly, were voluntary reproduced in pencil by the artist. A long and fastidious gesture, which requires time: the one of the expected back home, rescheduled during many years.
